Marchisio's Conte Reunion At Chelsea
Claudio Marchisio played under Antonio Conte when they were both at Juventus with his former Juve coach apparently interested in taking him to Chelsea in the summer.
Italian reports - according to talkSPORT - have said the midfielder has a close relationship with Conte from his time with the Bianconeri and Italy.
The 31 year old has a contract until 2020 with Juve in no hurry to sign Marchisio but he's been limited with his appearances this season due to injury, which has opened the door to others. Enough for him to leave though is another matter?
With Juan Cuadrado currently on a long-term loan deal from Chelsea any deal could offset the potential permanent agreement in place for the midfielder.
Cuadrado was the match winner in the derby d'Italia with Inter Milan recently with the Colombian international also central to the win over Cagliari.
Speaking post-match about that Cagliari win on Sunday Cuadrado was quoted by juventus.com as saying.
'It was massively important to win tonight. We must keep going - we're on the right track - and give 100% in every game. Personally I try to give everything in training and matches. At times I play well, on other occasions less so, but at least I know I've given it my best shot.'
Gonzalo Higuain scored a brace but Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Marko Pjaca were also praised for their involvement.
Cuadrado has also turned his attention to Palermo, which will come ahead of the Bianconeri return to the Champions League next week.
'We have so many good players up top. Gonzalo is scoring lots of goals but [Paulo] Dybala, [Mario] Mandzukic and [Marko] Pjaca - who's a real talent and will soon have the chance to show it - are performing well. We must all keep giving 100% for the team. Now we'll focus on Palermo, which is a huge game. We'll concentrate on winning to go into the Champions League match with confidence high so we can get a result.'
