Hernanes May Join Hebei Fortune

Hernanes May Join Hebei Fortune

Hernanes is being lined up for a potential move to the Chinese Super League. His agent has confirmed as much but denied a deal has already been agreed with Hebei Fortune.

The Brazilian has managed just eight appearances for Juventus this season with his future likely to be away from the J Stadium.

Joseph Lee has said he just wants to play football but his agent also told Corriere dello Sport - via Goal.com - he didn't know where talks between the clubs where at this point.

'I don't know what point the two clubs are at, but at the moment I can say we don't have any agreement with Hebei Fortune. The important thing is for Hernanes to play, whether at Juve, in China or elsewhere.'

I find it hard to believe an agent wouldn't know the stage of developments so he's perhaps being diplomatic?

Having been left out of Juve's Champions League squad this was another thing that counted against him remaining with the Bianconeri.

China would make a good move for Hernanes - with the transfer window in the CSL still open despite the European one closing - though with Lee adding.

'The fact he has been excluded from the Champions League list is certainly not a positive factor. If Juventus were to reach an agreement with the Chinese club and if it's a good situation for us, then Hernanes could move there.'
